Year 1Mrs Alder
We are Year 1.
Our teacher is Mrs Alder and our teaching assistant is Mrs Smith.
Here in Year 1 we are becoming super readers, writers and mathematicians and we especially love phonics!
In this Autumn term we will enjoy drawing self portraits, exploring our Busy Books and learning about each other in our ‘Memory Box’ topic.
We really like our creative curriculum lessons because we learn lots of fascinating and exciting things about the world around us.
We are working really hard to become independent learners by using our Busy Books to explore our classroom and the activities within it.
Our topics for the rest of the year will be Full steam ahead and Planes, trains and automobiles.
